Throughout his career with both Fortune 50 companies and entrepreneurial firms, Barrett has developed a track record of delivering unqualified success across all operational areas of healthcare — including payer, provider, multi-site healthcare, public health, and life sciences businesses. His teams have consistently delivered cutting-edge solutions that have resulted in significant and immediate increases in sales, reductions in operating expenses, and streamlined business processes.
He has advised stakeholders on a broad range of strategic growth, development, and operational objectives. Internally, Barrett is focused on overseeing SCALE’s sales and marketing team, as well as leading the development and expansion of SCALE’s portfolio of services and innovation initiatives.
Previously, Barrett led sales and marketing for Syntellis-Strata (formerly Kaufman Hall), the market leader in enterprise performance management for healthcare operations, finance, and clinical AI, analytics, and intelligence solutions. His team’s results drove revenue growth that funded multiple acquisitions and a successful exit.
With additional experience as an entrepreneur building BB2e Health, a patient engagement and analytics firm, Barrett has also led sales with some of the largest healthcare-focused software and services firms, including SAP (CommerceOne), Infor (Lawson), and MDreview. Additionally, he brings significant payer/plan experience from Chubb and Marsh/Mercer.
Barrett is active in the community as a board member of Jewish Family and Children’s Services, the Red Cross, and Project Care. He graduated from Lehigh University.
