Amy Smith

Amy Smith is a Vice President at SCALE Finance.

At SCALE Finance, Amy supports various corporate accounting needs across multi-site provider MSOs, multi-specialty group practices and dental service organizations.  Her work includes supporting M&A integration, new MSO finance department establishment, ERP migration & implementation, and on-going performance improvement.  Amy has served as an interim controller for multiple private-equity backed organizations including across oncology, behavioral health and med aesthetics. In addition, Amy has worked to build and oversee SCALE’s offshore accounting team.

Amy has extensive experience in many finance & accounting and ERP systems including Sage Intacct, Netsuite and QuickBooks. Amy is a certified accounting and implementation specialist for Sage Intacct.  She has also implemented and used multiple AP processing systems (Stampli, Bill.com and MineralTree) and Payroll systems (ADP Workforce Now, Paycom, Paylocity).  She collaborates with clients to understand their needs, ensures the system will meet those requirements and customizes the software to align with the organization’s financial processes. Amy also provides training and support to ensure a smooth transition to the new system during and post-implementation.

With over 30 years of experience in financial management, Amy is a dedicated Financial Controller known for optimizing financial operations and driving strategic initiatives. Amy is adept at budget forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance. She has a proven history of implementing effective financial controls and processes, improving financial efficiency, and supporting organizational growth. Amy is committed to fostering collaborative relationships across departments to enhance financial performance.
