Jim’s dynamic career and wide-ranging experience comes from over twenty-five years in the healthcare industry guiding organizations through transformation and rapid growth, developing teams and best practices, and enhancing financial reporting, leading to operational efficiencies and improved profitability. He has accumulated experience across several healthcare segments including physician practice management, out-patient surgery centers, health technology management, and Medicare Advantage health plans. He has led the accounting, finance and operations departments for large public companies, private equity backed high-growth entities, and academic health and science organizations.

Over the past two-years, Jim has served as an interim CFO for several Private Equity sponsored companies. Prior to that, Jim was the CFO of a rapidly growing value-based care physician practice leading the company through fifteen acquisitions and $300M+in revenues, while raising capital to support the extensive growth of the companies. In addition, Jim directed the revenue cycle team to best-in-class performance while integrating EHRs, building compliance programs, and developing physician compensation models that allowed providers to share in quality and risk bonuses improving relationships with physicians.

He began his professional career as an auditor with Deloitte in New York City focusing on banks, brokers/dealers, and insurance companies. Jim’s passion for those less fortunate has taken him to Africa, the Caribbeans, and Latin America, where he assisted in adoptions, building water wells, grain stations, feeding centers, and medical facilities.
